Welcome to the world of a lowly intern!
Being an intern is a great experience. Being an unpaid intern, that undertakes the responsibilities that I undertook, was an even greater experience. I overcame many difficulties, and faced many problems, but in the end, it was all for the best. I am just happy that whilst in the midst of these trials I was still able to bring the people quality music to ease the blow of the cruel, unforgiving world outside their door. Below are links to my work at Brite 95.3 KQMG. Click on the headlines to get you to it.
Exeutive summary OF INTERNSHIP
This is a summary of my experience at KQMG, and to give you an overview of what my responsibilities were while employed there.
Daily show recordings
Being a DJ to some people may seem like the greatest, easiest job there is, but, little do they know the amount of hard work it entails to provide them with not only a quality setlist, but quality information, weather, news, and so forth. I am the sole producer, creative director, researcher, music selector, etc. on all the following shows. What you hear on these daily recordings comes straight from the heart. They don't call me the LoneRanger for nothing.
Voice-overs
Here you will find all the commercials and PSA's that I have done to date at KQMG. I am also sole producer of all content within. I recorded vocals, edited, selected music, and mastered all commercials/PSA's.
Weather reports
After taking on basically sole responsibility for all on-air content I began doing daily weather reports. Although tedious, boring, and repetitive, I have included them here, for your enjoyment...(ha, ha). But, in all seriousness, to demonstrate that I have that ability.
Interviews
This page contains one interview I conducted live on-air with two United States Veterans. Hopefully there will be more interviews to come in the future.
